Signature Recipe: Classic Indian Garam Masala Aloo

Spices Used: Garam Masala – The Masala Mandi

Ingredients

  • 200g paneer (cubed)
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1 tbsp cashew paste
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tsp The Masala Mandi Shahi Paneer Masala
  • ¼ cup cream or malai
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves or kasuri methi (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until translucent.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  3. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  4. Stir in cashew paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add Shahi Paneer Masala and salt; mix well.
  6. Add paneer cubes and about ½ cup water. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  7. Stir in cream and garnish with coriander or kasuri methi.
