Signature Recipe: Classic Indian Garam Masala Aloo

Spices Used: Garam Masala – The Masala Mandi

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes (boiled and diced)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 green chilli (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 1.5 tsp The Masala Mandi Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add green chilli and grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add turmeric powder and boiled potatoes. Toss gently.
  4. Sprinkle Garam Masala and salt. Mix well to coat evenly.
  5. Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until lightly crispy.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon before serving.
