Ingredients
- 500g mutton (bone-in)
- 2 onions (sliced)
- 1 cup curd (whisked)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp The Masala Mandi Mutton Masala
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp oil
- Whole spices: 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 black cardamom
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add whole spices and sauté briefly until aromatic.
- Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
- Add mutton pieces, turmeric powder, salt, and Mutton Masala. Mix well.
- Add whisked curd, stir well, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add about 1½ cups water and pressure cook for 4–5 whistles.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
